The Brief

Following a high profile child sexual exploitation (CSE) case in Rochdale, the local authority, working with Wigan Council, set up a service to support victims of abuse The service, funded by nearly £1m from the Department for Education Social Care innovation Programme, allocates therapeutic social workers to child victims of CSE and those at risk.

The Solution

MaD facilitated a co-design session with young people and service professionals to understand their design and communication preferences. We used the sessions to inform our designs resulting in the creation of a modern, youthful brand identity that incorporated interactive elements to engage with young people.
